Hello my name is Thomas Cheng and I am a third generation Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.

I was born in Taiwan but have been living happily in Auckland New Zealand for several years now.

I love being of service through my work as an acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and get immense satisfaction from helping people to be well.

Incorporating all these techniques there is a very broad range of ailments that I can treat, including pain conditions both acute and chronic,sport injuries,sleep issues, lack of energy, detoxification, stress, anti-aging, weight loss, fertility…to name just a few.

I am centrally located on corner of East Coast Road and Rosedale Road on North Shore.

There are many acupuncturists in Auckland and many of them are very competent.

Some speak very good English while others are limited in that regard.

Some are open minded about other complementary practices such as massage, Traditional Chinese herbs and Western Wholistic practices and Allopathic medicine.

What is most important is that you feel rapport with your Acupuncturist and you feel that you are getting results.

I am a third generation Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner but I also utilise more recent developments, such as the Lifewave Acupuncture patches which refract photonic light rather than utilising the traditional method of penetration by needles.

I still use the needles unless a patient prefers me not to. I am delighted to offer another technique which complements the needles and extends the results I am able to achieve.

After all the most important thing is results. Helping my patients is my first priority.
